We wanted to show some extra love to Robin who came in for a shoot this January and we definitely played up her National Parks Service job for some of these shots! She gave us a bit of her time to talk about her experience at Vavoom, check it out below!

“I had been to a few shoots before, but this felt beyond luxurious and glamorous. It was fun to live out a dream of being a classic pin up and just let loose and be myself. Everyone was so kind and I smiled and laughed my way through the whole thing.

It was hard to wait for the images, but the wait was well worth it! I just loved how they came out. I cautiously showed a few of my close friends, and they were seriously impressed. They all joked I should be an Instagram model.  With their encouragement I decided to create a public Instagram page to showcase my fashion choices, including my images from Vavoom.  It was a bit scary at first, but I’m pretty proud to show them off, and many friends commented on my bravery and how happy I looked. It was an amazing experience from start to the present!”

On how the shoot changed her:

“I felt empowered. I had gained a bit of weight and I was feeling glum about it. But after seeing my images I felt empowered, sexy, and proud. It was also nice to express myself and show off my personality in a new way. I’m prouder then ever of who I am, just as I am!”
